About
What is Executive Coaching?
Coaching is a powerful process of enabling individuals reach their potential in the workplace. Evidence suggests clear benefits for organisational outcomes, and positive effects for an individual's learning and development, motivation and effectiveness. A sustainable approach to achievement requires a different kind of investment. The disruption and challenge posed by COVID 19 places unique demands on individuals. Now, more than ever, we need space to clarify, to access our creativity and use our influence, to learn and manage our anxiety.
A solid theoretical framework and clear ethical standards guide my practice. Coaching is a strong tool in successful change management. The coaching process aims to be empowering for the individual and leads to an increased sense of wellbeing.
Who am I?
I have many years experience of working in Public Health, leading innovation and change, organisational development and management. I have worked on multiple programmes with Government, statutory, community, voluntary, and private sectors as well as academic interests to reduce inequalities in health and promote social justice. I am experienced in developing multi agency partnerships and working with communities. I continue to work on a voluntary basis with a number of community organisations. I have a strong track record in team development and organisational change.
I bring this experience to the world of coaching. I am a qualified and accredited Executive Coach with clear ethical standards of practice. I hold the Practitioner Diploma in Executive Coaching with the Academy of Executive Coaching (AoEC). My work is regulated by the AoEC and they are regulated by the International Coaching Federation and the European Mentoring and Coaching Council.
I am also an Associate with the Health and Social Care Leadership Centre in Belfast.
How Much Time Do I Need?
I believe strongly in an individual's capacity for growth and development. Executive Coaching is tailored to the needs of the individual. Typically sessions will last for between 1-1½ hours at an arranged time that is suitable for you. I also offer a complimentary introductory session to help determine goals, understandings of the coaching process and to establish whether there is a suitable 'fit' for working together. The recommended number of sessions is 6-8, however this can be negotiated depending on your requirements.
